Swedish (Methodist) Meatballs

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 egg whites, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. corn flakes, crushed
  • 3 T oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 3/4 c. water

Direcciones

  1. Put together first 7 ingredients. Mix into balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg whites (frothy) and then into corn flake crumbs. Brown on all sides. Place in baking dish and add in soup mixed with water on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
