Ingredientes

  • 2 ounce Butter
  • 2 lrg Red cabbages cored and shredded
  • 2 Tbsp. Black treacle
  • 1 x Onion - grated
  • 2 x Apples - peeled, cored and sliced (2 To 3)
  • 3 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 4 fl ounce Red wine vinegar
  •     Salt and pepper

Direcciones

  1. Heat the butter in a large heavy casserole. Throw in cabbage, add in the black treacle and cook over a low heat, stirring constantly. Stir in the onion; apples and lemon juice; wine and salt and pepper. Simmer gently for three hrs, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning.
