Ingredientes

  • 2 1/2 lb Beef pot roast
  • 1/2 lb Beef brisket
  •     Suet (for browing)
  • 2 x Onions, crushed
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 2 Tbsp. Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. Catsup
  • 1 x Garlic clove, sliced
  • 1/3 c. Seedless raisins
  •     Stock or possibly bouillon

Direcciones

  1. Brown meats in suet.Add in onions and garlic. Add in stock and bay leaf. Cover.
  2. Simmer for 1 hour. Add in vinegar and brown sugar. cover and simmer for 1 hour longer. Add in catsup and raisins. Cover. Simmer for 30 min longer. Serve with noodles or possibly Brown rice.
  3. sugguested menu: Sweet and sour pot roast, noodles, peas, green salad, custard, coffee or possibly tea.
