Ingredientes

  • 2 lb Beef sirloin (or possibly round) steak, cut into 6 serving pcs
  • 1/4 c. All-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp. Veg. oil
  • 1/2 c. Chili sauce
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 2 tsp Beef bouillon pwdr
  • 7 1/2 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic pwdr
  • 12 x Baby red potatoes, with peel
  • 24 x Peeled baby carrots
  • 2 med Onion, cut into wedges

Direcciones

  1. Lb. steaks well with meat mallet.
  2. Mix flour, salt and pepper in shallow dish. Dip both sides of steak in to coat.
  3. Heat 1/2 of veg. oil in non-stick frying pan. Add in 3 steak. Brown both sides well. Arrange in medium roaster. Repeat with remaining steaks.
  4. Stir next 5 ingredients together in small bowl. Pour over steaks. Cover.
  5. Bake in 350 F oven for 1 3/4 hrs to 2 hrs till tender.
  6. Add in potatoes, carrot and onion. Bake, covered, for about 1 1/2 hrs till vegetables are tender. Add in a touch more water if needed.
  7. Serves 6
