Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 lb Round or possibly chuck steak
  • 2 Tbsp. Flour
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. Shortening
  • 1 1/2 c. Stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lrg Onion -- sliced

Direcciones

  1. Preheat to 325. Trim fat from meat, and cut into serving pcs.Combine flour ,salt, and pepper. Sprinkle half the flour into 1 side of the meat, lb. in with edge of saucer. Turn meat and repeat on other side. Heat shortening, brown meat on both sides. Add in to a 13x9 baking pan. Add in tomatoes and onions. Cover with foil. Bake for 2 hrs.
