- Put in LARGE pan (cool packer is nice). Stir and cook to 240 degrees. Add in butter the size of 2 Large eggs, paraffin the size of 1 egg, 1 1/2 sheets gelatin that has been softened in a little hot water. Cook to 255 degrees.
- Remove from heat and pour 1 dram bottle flavor oil (your choice) and stir. Let cold a little while and use buttered knife to pull away from edges allowing hotter from the middle to cold at the edge.
- When cold sufficient to handle butter your hands and pull taffy till you cannot pull anymore. Make into a long rope and put on powdered sugared table and crack in pcs. Takes several people to pull. Fun!
