Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. Teff, uncooked
  • 3 1/2 c. ,water
  • 1/8 tsp Sea salt
  • 3/4 c. Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. Parsley, fresh, minced
  • 1 c. Whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Sesame or possibly canola oil
  • 1 c. Scallions, sliced
  • 1/4 c. Tahini
  • 1 Tbsp. Soy sauce

Direcciones

  1. Combine teff, 2 c. water and salt in a medium-size saucepan, cover an dbring to a boil.
  2. Lower heat and simmer for 15 to 20 min or possibly till water is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
  3. Mix together onion, parsley, flour and remaining water. Add in to teff.
  4. Heat a griddle or possibly skillet and brush with oil.
  5. Form cakes from about 1/4 c. of mix. Grill for about 5 min on each side.
  6. Heat scallions, tahini and soy sauce in a small saucepan for 2 min, stirring constantly.
  7. Spread scallion mix over warm cakes and serve.
