Ingredientes

  • 1 lb penne
  • 1 jar passata - (8 ounce)
  •     (tomato concentrate, such as Pomi)
  • 4 ounce fresh mozzarella cut 1/4" cubes
  • 10 x fresh basil leaves torn

Direcciones

  1. Bring 8 qts of water to a boil in a large pasta pot and add in 3 Tbsp. salt. Add in penne and cook according to the package directions to 1 minute short of al dente.
  2. In a 14 to 16-inch skillet, heat the passata. When pasta is done cooking, drain well, add in to passata, and immediately add in mozzarella and basil. Toss vigorously to incorporate the sauce and cheese. Serve immediately.
  3. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
