Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 lg. Large eggs, separated
  • 3/4 c. diary lowfat sour cream
  • 3/4 c. buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. vegetable oil

Direcciones

  1. Makes 4 or possibly 5 (8 inch) waffles. Heat waffle iron. Stir together flour, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt. Beat egg yolks, lowfat sour cream, buttermilk and vanilla in a medium bowl till well blended. Stir in dry ingredients alternately with the oil till blended and smooth. In a separate bowl beat egg whites till stiff peaks form when beaters are lifted. Gently fold beaten egg whites into creamed mix till no white streaks remain. Spoon about 1 c. onto preheated waffle iron and bake. When done, top with honey or possibly lowfat sour cream and jelly.
