Adobo has an interesting history in different parts of the world. Originally, it was a preservative. Now, it's a dry powder that can be made into a wet rub or marinade, or the name of a dish. This is a version of it to be used on meats, poultry, or other dishes where you want a garlic kick.

Ingredientes

  • 2 tbs. salt
  • 1 tbs. Hungarian paprika
  • 1/2 tbs. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Mexican oregano
  • 1 tsp. Tex-Mex Diablo Dust or chile powder

Direcciones

  1. Mix together and store in an airtight container.
  2. Wet rub: add a bit of oil
  3. Marinade: add 1/2 cup oil and juice of 2 lemons or limes
