Receta Tex-Mex Adobo Seasoning
Adobo has an interesting history in different parts of the world. Originally, it was a preservative. Now, it's a dry powder that can be made into a wet rub or marinade, or the name of a dish. This is a version of it to be used on meats, poultry, or other dishes where you want a garlic kick.
Ingredientes
- 2 tbs. salt
- 1 tbs. Hungarian paprika
- 1/2 tbs. garlic powder
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp. cumin
- 1 1/2 tsp. Mexican oregano
- 1 tsp. Tex-Mex Diablo Dust or chile powder
Direcciones
- Mix together and store in an airtight container.
- Wet rub: add a bit of oil
- Marinade: add 1/2 cup oil and juice of 2 lemons or limes
