Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 c. uncooked instant rice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (16 ounce.) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings

Direcciones

  1. Mix beef, egg, chili pwdr, salt and pepper. Shape into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls. Place in 2 qt casserole, microwave at high (100%) till meatballs are set and lose pink color 4 to 7 min, rearranging after half the cooking time. Drain fat. Stir in remaining ingredients, cover microwave on high till mix is bubbly and onions are tender, 4 to 7 min. Stir after half the cooking time. Let stand till rice is tender, 2 to 3 min.
