  • 1 small, thinly sliced onion
  • 1 Poblano pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1 bag of Prickly Pear Chipotle It's Jerky Y'All
  • 1/2 cup shredded vegan cheese of choice
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • Salt to taste
  • At least 2 hoagie rolls

Direcciones

  1. 1) In a large pan, sauté jerky, onions, and pepper in oil on medium heat until onions are translucent and soft (stir to be sure they don't burn).
  2. 2) Stir in diced tomatoes and vegan cheese. Lower heat and cover for about 5 minutes (until tomatoes are wilted and cheese melted).
  3. 3) Cut open hoagie rolls and toast at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 6 to 8 minutes. Be sure to not toast too long or they will be too crispy to eat.
  4. 4) When filling is ready, fill rolls. Garnish with cilantro.
