%20each%20day,%20leaving%20me%20little%20to%20no%20time%20to%20actually%20blog%20about%20the%20%22stuff%22%20I've%20been%20doing,%20ha!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyway-I've%20tried%20to%20at%20the%20very%20least%20Instagram%20my%20recent%20adventures%20@thislifewellloved.%20In%20the%20meantime,%20I've%20gotten%20lots%20of%20requests%20for%20different%20recipes%20I%20make%20and%20a%20lot%20of%20questions%20specifically%20about%20baking%20bread%20at%20home.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20always%20found%20the%20idea%20of%20baking%20your%20own%20bread%20a%20little%20overwhelming%20until%20I%20actually%20tried%20it%20myself%20and%20found%20some%20nice%20little%20shortcuts.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20are%20my%20favorite%20tips:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E-%20For%20one%20thing,%20I%20don't%20use%20a%20bread%20machine.%20Like%20never.%20I%20use%20my%20trusty%20Kitchen-Aid%20stand%20mixer%20or%20just%20a%20big%20bowl%20and%20a%20fork%20for%20my%20favorite%20bread%20recipes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E-Another%20tip%20is%20to%20keep%20your%20yeast%20in%20the%20refrigerator%20in%20a%20Ziploc.%20That%20way%20you%20can%20buy%20the%20bigger%20-containers%20and%20keep%20them%20fresh%20for%20months.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E-When%20I'm%20in%20a%20hurry,%20I'll%20microwave%20a%20cup%20of%20water%20until%20just%20boiling%20then%20put%20my%20dough%20on%20a%20sheet%20in%20the%20microwave%20with%20the%20door%20shut%20for%20a%20half%20hour%20or%20so%20to%20speed%20up%20the%20leavening%20process.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E-I%20keep%20leftover%20dough%20in%20the%20fridge%20for%20up%20to%20three%20days.%20When%20I'm%20ready%20to%20use%20it,%20I%20just%20let%20it%20rise%20on%20a%20baking%20sheet%20covered%20with%20a%20towel%20for%20a%20few%20hours.%20I%20typically%20take%20it%20out%20in%20the%20morning%20and%20let%20it%20rise%20throughout%20the%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20now%20for%20the%20recipes:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20make%20it%20in%20my%20Kitchen-Aid%20and%20usually%20half%20the%20recipe%20(and%20trust%20me,%20that%20will%20make%20you%20at%20least%20two%20dinners%20for%20four!).%20Note%20that%201%20package%20of%20yeast%20is%20equal%20to%202%201/4%20teaspoons.%20It's%20perfection%20for%20burger%20buns%20and%20sandwiches!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt's%20fantastic%20for%20cheesy%20breadsticks%20(above),%20a%20long%20baguette,%20a%20wider%20Italian%20bread%20or%20cheesy%20garlic%20bread%20(below%20and%20blurry...hello,%20Prosecco).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon't%20be%20fooled%20by%20the%20name;%20it's%20not%20just%20for%20Indian%20food.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20use%20this%20flatbread%20for%20just%20about%20everything%20from%20BBQ%20chicken%20DIY%20sammies%20to%20gyros%20to%20yummy%20sriracha%20chicken%20and%20veggies%20(below).%20I've%20even%20been%20known%20to%20serve%20it%20with%20leftover%20lasagna!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20play%20around%20with%20these%20and%20never%20use%20the%20butter%20topping.%20I%20am%20a%20huge%20fan%20of%20butter,%20don't%20get%20me%20wrong,%20but%20I%20feel%20like%20it's%20overkill%20to%20add%20it%20on%20top%20of%20these%20biscuits%20at%20the%20end.%20I%20love%20switching%20up%20the%20cheese%20(habanero%20cheddar%20is%20my%20fave)%20and%20adding%20things%20like%20bacon%20and%20fresh%20herbs%20inside.%20Yum.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hope%20you%20enjoy%20these%20recipes%20as%20much%20as%20I%20do!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20again%20soon%20with%20more!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
