- 1/2 ounce Blood Orange Liqueur
- DeKuyper Hot Damn! Liqueur to float on top

%20jumped%20into%20the%20conversation,%20%E2%80%98I%E2%80%99ll%20see%20your%20George%20Clooney%20and%20raise%20you%20a%20Miley%20Cyrus%E2%80%99%20%E2%80%93%20great%20idea,%20after%20all%20Miley%20is%20hot%20right%20now%20and%20no%20matter%20if%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20care%20for%20her%20antics;%20this%20cocktail%20was%20supposed%20to%20be%20all%20about%20the%20trends%20right%E2%80%A6and%20like%20her%20or%20not,%20she%20is%20trending%20(even%20if%20not%20really%20trendy).%20%20At%20this%20point%20I%20think%20we%E2%80%99re%20all%20seeing%20Miley%20twerk%20with%20George%20and%20doggone%20it%20if%20Christina%20didn%E2%80%99t%20hit%20just%20the%20right%20note%20when%20she%20labeled%20it%20the%20Miley%20Vyrus%20Cocktail.%20YES!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETongue%20in%20cheek%20Nosh%20On%20It%20made%20the%20following%20suggestion%20(yes%20this%20IS%20real%20work%20on%20Twitter!):%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20pt%20shame%20(midori)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20pt%20lust%20(vanilla%20vodka)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20pt%20guilty%20pleasure%20(goldschlager)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20part%20%23makemeforgetplease%20(fernet)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1/2%20part%20%23IsThisForReal%20(99%20Bananas)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYes,%20made%20me%20chuckle%20but%20then%20I%20had%20to%20start%20thinking%20for%20real%20and%20I%20was%20challenged%20by%20the%20folks%20at%20Nosh%20On%20It%20to%20actually%20come%20up%20with%20a%20cocktail%20and%20I%20do%20love%20me%20a%20cocktail%20challenge!%20I%20had%20just%20bought%20a%20bottle%20of%20a%20liqueur%20called%20%E2%80%98Hot%20Damn%E2%80%99%20and%20it%20seemed%20perfect;%20when%20I%20checked%20out%20the%20Halloween%20cocktail%20that%20the%20folks%20at%20Cruzan%20had%20provided%20to%20me%20if%20I%20wanted%20to%20feature%20their%20Velvet%20Cinn%20(Sin?)%20Liqueur%20I%20knew%20my%20cocktail%20had%20already%20been%20made.%20Really.%20Hot%20Damn,%20Aged%20Rum%20and%20Cinn%E2%80%A6you%20can%20see%20where%20this%20is%20going,%20right?%20Cinn%20and%20Hot%20Damn%20are%20obvious%20components%20and%20I%20figured%20the%20Aged%20Rum%20was%20my%20nod%20to%20Robin%20Thicke%20(and%20yes%20you%20ARE%20too%20old%20to%20have%20been%20a%20part%20of%20that%20Robin%E2%80%A6I%20don%E2%80%99t%20care%20what%20your%20own%20wife%20says!).%20This%20cocktail%20devised%20originally%20for%20Halloween%20seemed%20perfect%20so%20I%20ran%20with%20it.The%20Blood%20Orange%20liqueur?%20Maybe%20the%20blood%20bath%20Miley%E2%80%99s%20reputation%20took%20with%20those%20fans%20who%20knew%20her%20as%20a%20girl%20named%20Hannah?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENow%20don%E2%80%99t%20get%20me%20wrong%E2%80%A6I%20wish%20I%20could%20say%20I%20was%20shocked%20by%20Miley%E2%80%99s%20performance%20on%20TV%20recently%20but%20little%20can%20shock%20any%20of%20us%20anymore.%20What%20I%20was%20was%20part%20disgusted%20and%20part%20sad.%20Disgusted%20at%20whoever%20thinks%20that%20exploiting%20someone%20the%20age%20of%20Miley%20is%20good%20business%20(Walt%20Disney%E2%80%A6where%20are%20YOU?)%20but%20also%20sad%20that%20she%20took%20the%20bait.%20Why%20does%20coming%20of%20age%20require%20taking%20off%20your%20clothes%20and%20singing%20about%20how%20crass%20you%20are?%20I%20value%20that%20some%20young%20people%20still%20believe%20they%20can%20make%20that%20transition%20without%20totally%20embarrassing%20themselves%20or%20their%20parents%20but%20then%20their%20parents%20would%20not%20take%20the%20stance%20of%20Billy%20Ray%20Cyrus.%20He%20not%20only%20approved%E2%80%A6heck%20I%20was%20shocked%20that%20he%20even%20watched.%20I%20know%20an%20Ewww%20emanated%20from%20my%20lips.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStill,%20Ms%20Cyrus%20made%20a%20choice,%20she%E2%80%99s%20adamant%20it%E2%80%99s%20her%20right%20and%20I%20guess%20it%E2%80%99s%20mine%20to%20not%20like%20it%E2%80%A6and/or%20to%20have%20some%20fun%20about%20it%20with%20this%20cocktail.%20Make%20sure%20%20you%20do%20know%20how%20to%20twerk%E2%80%A6it%E2%80%99s%20a%20critical%20proponent%20in%20preparation.%20OK,%20just%20shaking%20the%20cocktail%20shaker%20will%20do%20the%20same%E2%80%A6but%20if%20you%20are%20so%20inclined?%20Do%20as%20my%20friend%20@pineapplecoconut%20suggests:%20%20%23twerkednotstirred%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHow%20did%20I%20like%20it?%20An%20interesting%20combinations%20of%20flavors%20for%20sure;%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20sure%20the%20blood%20orange%20liqueur%20is%20evident%20enough%20to%20be%20included%20and%20my%20first%20sample%20had%20a%20bit%20too%20much%20of%20the%20Hot%20Damn!%20liqueur%E2%80%A6that%E2%80%99s%20what%20happens%20when%20you%20are%20trying%20to%20make%20sure%20it%20shows%20up%20in%20the%20photo!%20Once%20I%20skimmed%20most%20of%20that%20off%20the%20top,%20I%20enjoyed%20this%20for%20what%20it%20is%E2%80%A6a%20sweet%20and%20spicy%20after%20dinner%20cocktail.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Miley%20Vyrus%20Cocktail%20%E2%80%93%20A%20bit%20of%20Sin,%20Something%20Aged%20and%20Hot%20Damn!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreparation%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECombine%20Cruzan%20Velvet%20Cinn,%20Cruzan%20Aged%20Dark%20Rum,%20and%20Blood%20Orange%20Liqueur%20in%20a%20tumbler%20over%20ice%20and%20twerk%
