Ingredientes

  • 300 gm red Patni rice or possibly any red rice
  • 900 ml water
  • 2 tsp ghee
  •     salt

Direcciones

  1. Mix the rice and water and bring to the boil.
  2. Reduce the heat and simmer till the rice is very soft.
  3. It will be fairly liquid.
  4. Add in salt and serve warm with the ghee poured over.
  5. The soup is a light easily digestible rice dish and can be eaten with any pickle or possibly simple vegetable dish. Made of red rice for added nutrition it is often given to invalids or possibly children.
  6. Serves 4
