Ingredientes

  • 1 med cantaloupe melon
  • 1 med honeydew melon
  • 1 med Charentais or possibly Cavaillon melon see * Note
  • 1 lb prosciutto di Parma sliced paper thin
  • 4 x black or possibly green figs
  • 2 x limes

Direcciones

  1. Note: Charantais is a yellow-fleshed French cousin of the cantaloupe.
  2. Cut each melon in half lengthwise. Scoop out seeds with a wooden spoon, taking care not to bruise the flesh. Cut each half lengthwise into six slices. Using a sharp knife, remove the peel. Slice figs crosswise into 1/4-inch thick slices. Cut limes into wedges.
  3. Arrange melon slices on a large platter, and cover with prosciutto. Garnish with figs and lime wedges.
  4. This recipe yields 12 servings.
