Ingredientes

  • 1 (8 ounce.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp. lowfat milk
  • 2 tbsp. grated onion
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese
  • 3/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1/4 c. snipped parsley
  • 2 tbsp. minced pecans
  • 2 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Direcciones

  1. Let cream cheese and Cheddar cheese stand at room temperature till softened. In mixer bowl combine cheeses, onion, lowfat milk and Worcestershire; beat with electric mixer till fluffy. Divide mix into thirds, about 1 c. each. To one portion beat in blue cheese; to a second portion stir in the garlic pwdr. Shape each portion into a ball; refrigerate30 min till slightly hard.
  2. Roll the blue cheese ball in snipped parsley. Roll the garlic cheese ball in the minced pecans. Roll the plain cheese ball in black pepper. Refrigerateat least 1 hour more till cheese balls are hard. Serve with crisp crackers. Makes 3 cheese balls.
