Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Carrots, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. Onions, sliced
  • 1 1/2 c. Green peppers, sliced in strips
  • 1 1/2 c. Celery, sliced
  • 1/4 c. Vegetable oil
  • 1 can Stewed tomatoes, (15 ounces)
  • 1 can Tomato puree, (15 ounces)
  • 1 can Tomato paste, 6 ounces
  • 1 c. Tomato juice, optional
  • 1 med Lemon, juiced
  • 2 can Kidney beans, canned, (15 ounces)
  • 1 can Garbanzo beans, canned, (15 ounces)
  • 2 lrg Garlic cloves, chopped
  • 3 Tbsp. Chili pwdr
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Dry basil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Warm sauce

Direcciones

  1. In a large pot, heat oil; add in minced and sliced vegetables and saute/fry till barely tender. Add in remaining ingredients, mixing well. Cover and simmer for 20 min or possibly till warm. Adjust seasonings with salt and chili
  2. pwdr to taste. Don't OVERCOOK Or possibly VEGETABLES WILL BECOME MUSHY.
