Ingredientes

  • 8 ounce silken tofu, patted dry
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh chives chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. safflower oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dry basil Or possibly dill
  • 1/4 c. tomato finely minced

Direcciones

  1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend well to achieve a smooth consistency. Transfer the mix to a small bowl, cover, and chill for several hrs to deepen the flavor.
  2. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
  3. NOTE: Grated carrot can be substituted for the tomato. Other herbs can be used.
  4. Makes a high-protein, no-cholesterol alternative to cream cheese on toasted bagels.
