Receta Turkey Brie and Cherry Grilled Sandwich
I love the subtle way that Brie melds with the turkey on their cold sandwich version and I decided to make my own version a grilled one because after all is there anything better than melted Brie? I think not! I used cherries which I had on hand, but any fruit you love, strawberries, blueberries and even grapes would add just that extra little bit of flavor to this ooey gooey bit of grilled deliciousness.
Ingredientes
- 8 pieces of your favorite bread
- 8 ounces of Brie
- 1 cup of cherries, sliced
- 1 pound deli turkey, sliced thin
- 4 tablespoons butter
Direcciones
- Slice the Brie so that you have approximately 4 to 5 slices per sandwich. This recipe makes 4 sandwiches. Butter one side of each of the slices of bread. Place the bread buttered side down on a hot griddle, pan or electric skillet (whichever method you use to toast up your sandwiches). On top of this slice layer the turkey (evenly divided between 4 sandwiches), cherries (evenly divided between 4 sandwiches) and the Brie. Place a slice of buttered bread on top of the layers. Grill to perfection on both sides making sure that the Brie is melted. Makes 4 servings.
