Ingredientes

  • 5 med. carrots, peeled & sliced thin
  • 4 med. yellow turnips, pared & diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. hot lowfat milk
  • 1 tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon grnd nutmeg

Direcciones

  1. Place carrots and turnips in a large saucepan. Add in sufficient water to cover, and add in salt. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer till vegetables are tender, about 12 min. Drain. Place vegetables in a mixer bowl. Beat with an electric mixer or possibly in a food processor till smooth. Gradually beat in lowfat milk, butter and nutmeg. Serves 4.
