Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 pound veal
  • 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 pound pkg. frzn peas

Direcciones

  1. Saute/fry onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil. Remove onions and set aside. Cut veal into cubes and season. Cook till lightly browned. Drain off the grease. Add in 1 can tomatoes, minced and about 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Add in parsley and about 1/2 to 1 c. water. Let simmer about 1/2 hour. Add in 1 pound pkg. frzn peas to the stew and simmer about 15 min. This stew goes well with extra virgin olive oil and vinegar salad, crusty bread and white dry wine.
