Receta Veal Stew With Peas

Ingredientes
- 1 1/2 pound veal
- 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 med. onion, chopped
- 1 tbsp. parsley, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can tomatoes
- 1 pound pkg. frzn peas
Direcciones
- Saute/fry onions and garlic in extra virgin olive oil. Remove onions and set aside. Cut veal into cubes and season. Cook till lightly browned. Drain off the grease. Add in 1 can tomatoes, minced and about 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Add in parsley and about 1/2 to 1 c. water. Let simmer about 1/2 hour. Add in 1 pound pkg. frzn peas to the stew and simmer about 15 min. This stew goes well with extra virgin olive oil and vinegar salad, crusty bread and white dry wine.
