Ingredientes

  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk or possibly water
  • 2 T shortening
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • Broiled Topping (below)
  • 1/2 c. flaked coconut
  • 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. minced nuts
  • 3 T butter, softened
  • 2 T lowfat milk

Direcciones

  1. Grease and flour square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches, or possibly round pan, 9 x 1 1/2 inches. Beat all ingredients, except Broiled Topping in large bowl on low speed, scraping bowl constantly, 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed, scraping bowl occasionally, 4 min. Spread in pan. Cover and chill up to 24 hrs.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Bake, uncovered, till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 30 to 35 min. Spread warm cake with Broiled Topping. Set oven control to broil and/or 550 degrees. Broil cake with top about 3 inches from heat till golden, about 3 min.
