Venetian Veal Pie

Ingredientes

  • 1 pound grnd beef, in bite size pcs
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 2 c. tomatoes (1 pound can)
  • 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 3 tbsp. Parmesan
  • 1 tbsp. sweet basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 pound longhorn or possibly mild cheddar, sliced

Direcciones

  1. Coat meat with flour. Brown in butter. Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese. Cover and simmer 30 min. Turn into pastry lined pan. Top with cheese slices. Roll out remaining dough and place over cheese, crimping edges together. Bake at 400 degrees or possibly 30-35 min, or possibly till golden.
