Receta Venthaya keerai sambar / Methi leaves sambar
Ingredientes
- 1 cup - Venthaya keerai / fenugreek leaves /methi leaves
- 1/4 cup - Red gram / thuvaram paruppu / toor dal
- 10 nos - Sambar onion / small onion
- 1 nos - Tomato (Chopped)
- 1 no - Tamarind (gooseberry sized)
- 1/4 tsp - Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp - Sambar powder or red chilli powder
- Coriander leaves for garnishing.
- Salt to taste For grinding:
- 1 tsp - Oil
- 2 tbsp - Grated coconut
- 1 1/2 tbsp - Coriander seeds
- 1 tbsp - Bengal gram / kadalai paruppu
- 1 or 2 nos - Dry red chillies
- 1/2 tsp - Raw Rice Seasonings:
- 1 tbsp – Oil
- 1/2 tsp – Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp – Cumin seeds
