Ingredientes

  • 1 pound frzn shelled shrimp
  • 1/3 c. butter
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1/2 c. minced green onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 c. minced parsley
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed thyme
  • Dash of cayenne
  • 1 can (8 ounce.) tomato sauce
  • 1 lemon slice
  • Warm cooked rice

Direcciones

  1. Thaw shrimp and cut large ones in half. Heat butter; blend in flour and brown, stirring constantly. Gradually add in the water and cook, stirring till thick. Add in remaining ingredients, except rice; cover and simmer 20 min. Remove bay leaves and serve over rice. Serves 6.
