Vintage Pineapple and Banana Cake

Ingredientes

  • 4 Bananas, very ripe and mashed
  • 3 C. Flour
  • 1/3 C. Wheat germ, can omit, but better with it
  • 1 ½ C. Sugar
  • 1 t. Soda
  • 1 t. Cinnamon
  • 1 t. Salt
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 Can Pineapple, unsweetened, crushed and drained
  • 1 C. Walnuts, chopped
  • 1 ½ C. Vegetable oil
  • 1 t. Vanilla

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour tube pan.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl, using a wire whisk to blend completely.
  4. Make a well in the center and add eggs, pineapple, nuts, oil and vanilla.
  5. Mix together thoroughly slowly and completely with a wooden spoon. Mix in mashed bananas.
  6. Put in tub pan and bake for 70-75 minutes.
  7. Cool completely.
