Walnut Marshmallow Fudgies

Ingredientes

  • 4 c. granulated sugar
  • 1 2/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 2 doz. marshmallows (I use 1 jar cream)
  • 1 c. walnuts, minced
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2 (6 ounce.) pkg. semi sweet chocolate pcs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Direcciones

  1. In large saucepan, combine sugar, lowfat milk and butter. Cook over medium heat stirring frequently to 234 degrees on candy thermometer or possibly till a little of mix forms soft ball when dropped into cool water.
  2. Remove from heat immediately; add in chocolate and marshmallows and vanilla then beat vigorously with spoon till all chocolate and marshmallows have been completely melted.
  3. Stir in minced nuts, then pour into buttered 9 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Press walnut halves into top in rows about 1 inch apart. Let set up and then cut into generous squares. Makes 3 1/2 pounds. I use a 9 x 13 inch pan.
