%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20down%20your%20forks%20because%20today's%20feature%20is%20a%20tasty%20little%20snack%20that's%20part%20salty,%20part%20sweet%20and%20part%20spicy:%20wasabi%20pea%20and%20nut%20chocolate%20bark.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know,%20right?%20It's%20a%20crazy%20combo.%20I%20love%20those%20fiery%20little%20wasabi%20peas:%20totally%20addictive%20little%20snack%20crack.%20And%20it's%20like%20a%20game%20every%20time%20you%20put%20them%20in%20your%20mouth,%20because%20you%20never%20know%20which%20one%20is%20going%20to%20be%20extra%20fiery%20and%20shoot%20that%20quick%20flash%20of%20heat%20right%20up%20your%20nose%20and%20into%20your%20brain.%20BAM!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20it%20stands%20to%20reason%20that,%20as%20much%20as%20I%20looooooove%20combining%20salty%20and%20sweet%20tidbits%20together,%20wasabi%20peas%20would%20be%20the%20perfect%20addition%20to%20chocolate%20bark.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20GUESS%20WHAT?%20They%20are!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20local%20market%20supplies%20me%20with%20wasabi%20peas%20that%20are%20tossed%20together%20with%20almonds%20and%20cashews,%20but%20you%20can%20easily%20add%20whatever%20nuts%20you%20prefer%20(although%20who%20doesn't%20like%20almonds%20and%20cashews??!!).%20I%20just%20thank%20the%20market%20for%20the%20shortcut.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20speaking%20of%20shortcuts,%20I%20love%20making%20chocolate%20bark%20because%20it%20is%20so%20freakin'%20easy%20peasy.%20I%20mean,%20it%20looks%20fancy%20and%20people%20are%20all%20%22Ooooh,%20you%20made%20this?%22.%20But%20really,%20it's%20just%20melted%20chocolate%20that%20you%20stir%20some%20stuff%20into%20and%20chill.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyone%20can%20do%20this!%20And%20can%20do%20it%20right%20about%20NOW.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20make%20my%20bark%20in%20a%209-inch%20square%20baking%20pan%20because%20I%20like%20thick%20bark.%20Please%20note%20that%20you%20can%20use%20a%20larger%20pan%20and%20get%20thinner%20bark%20if%20you%20prefer%20it%20more%20daintily%20sized.%20Remember:%20it's%20just%20melting,%20stirring%20and%20chilling%20--%20you%20can't%20mess%20this%20up.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHolla%20if%20you're%20a%20fiery%20wasabi%20pea%20fan.%20Better%20yet,%20leave%20a%20comment:%20The%20Ninj%20wants%20to%20know.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWasabi%20Pea%20Chocolate%20Bark%20with%20Almonds%20and%20Cashews%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDirections:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBring%20about%20an%20inch%20of%20water%20to%20a%20simmer%20in%20the%20bottom%20of%20a%20double%20boiler%20(or%20set%20a%20heat-safe%20bowl%20snugly%20over%20a%20pot%20of%20simmering%20water).%20Place%20the%20broken%20chocolate%20in%20the%20top%20of%20the%20double%20boiler,%20stirring%20to%20melt.%20Once%20the%20chocolate%20is%20smooth,%20remove%20it%20from%20the%20heat,%20fold%20in%20the%20peas%20and%20nuts%20and%20pour%20the%20mixture%20into%20a%20parchment-lined%209-inch-square%20baking%20pan.%20Sprinkle%20the%20surface%20with%20additional%20peas%20and%20nuts.%20Cover%20(not%20tightly)%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20pop%20into%20the%20refrigerator%20for%20about%205%20hours%20or%20overnight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELift%20out%20the%20contents%20of%20the%20pan%20and%20place%20it%20upside%20down%20on%20a%20large%20cutting%20board.%20Cut%20into%20as%20many%20pieces%20as%20you%20wish.%20And%20share.%20This%20makes%20a%20lotta%20bark.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewww.yankeekitchenninja.com%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
