.%20%20We%20even%20made%20a%20trip%20to%20the%20gym.%20%20I%20spent%2030%20minutes%20on%20the%20treadmill,%20doing%20some%20half-hearted%20running%20intervals%20and%20incline%20walking.%20%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20go%20back%20for%20a%20few%20days%20%E2%80%93%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20wash%20my%20hair%20until%20the%20color%20sets%20so%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20want%20to%20sweat%20%E2%80%93%20but%20it%20was%20a%20good%20start.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20is%20some%20of%20what%20I%20did%20on%20the%20food%20front%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebreakfast%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIced%20Americano%20with%20fat-free%20chocolate%20milk.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStill%20obsessed.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBaked%20oatmeal%20with%20maple%20and%20pecans%20for%20Sunday%20brunch.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20loosely%20followed%20this%20recipe.%20%20I%20cut%20back%20on%20the%20sugar%20and%20used%20candied%20pecans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Elunch%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThursday%20I%20had%20packed%20a%20lunch,%20but%20then%20when%20I%20went%20into%20the%20cafeteria%20to%20buy%20a%20drink%20the%20special%20called%20to%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20baked%20potato%20with%20cheese%20sauce,%20broccoli,%20onions,%20and%20pickled%20jalope%C3%B1os%20was%20delicious.%20%20Not%20as%20filling%20as%20I%E2%80%99d%20hoped%20though,%20I%20ended%20up%20buying%20a%20snack%20later%20that%20afternoon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFriday%20my%20abandoned%20lunch%20from%20the%20day%20before%20was%20already%20in%20my%20office.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EQuaker%20Summer%20Berry%20Oatmeal,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etopped%20with%20Big%20Slice%20Cinnamon%20French%20Toast%20Kettle%20Cooked%20Apples.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20apples%20were%20delicious,%20their%20texture%20was%20perfect.%20%20I%20went%20to%20Target%20that%20very%20day%20to%20buy%20more.%20%20Coincidentally,%20the%20oat%20bowls%20were%20on%20sale%20and%20I%20got%20more%20of%20those%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Esnacks%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIced%20coffee%20from%20Caf%C3%A9%20Dada.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EYum%20x%20infinity.%20%20I%20salivate%20when%20I%20think%20about%20this%20coffee.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdam%20and%20I%20split%20a%20rocky%20nut%20Snickers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20marshmallow%20layer%20is%20crazy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMore%20sugar.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20are%20both%20completely%20obsessed%20with%20these%20Juicy%20Bears.%20%20They%20are%20so%20juicy!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Edinner%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20fancy%20Friday%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESalad%20%E2%80%93%20arugula%20with%20yogurt%20blue%20cheese%20dressing,%20shredded%20carrot,%20and%20Emmy%E2%80%99s%20Blueberry%20Cashew%20Super%20Cereal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWith%20groats,%20raisins,%20cashews,%20and%20dried%20blueberries%20the%20cereal%20really%20seems%20like%20more%20of%20a%20salad%20topper%20anyway.%20%20Plus%20a%20reject%20piece%20of%20too%20small%20chicken%20from%20our%20new%20favorite%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20400%20degrees%20Farenheit.%20%20Prepare%20a%20baking%20dish%20with%20cooking%20spray.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20feta,%20capers,%20olives,%20and%20lemon%20zest%20into%20the%20bowl%20of%20your%20food%20processor.%20%20Pulse%20until%20well-combined%20and%20no%20large%20chunks%20remain.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUsing%20a%20serrated%20knife,%20slice%20into%20the%20side%20of%20each%20chicken%20breast%20until%20you%20are%20a%20quarter-inch%20from%20the%20other%20side.%20%20Basically%20you%20want%20to%20be%20able%20to%20open%20the%20breasts%20like%20little%20books.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOpen%20the%20chicken%20breasts%20and%20place%20into%20the%20baking%20dish.%20%20Spread%20filling%20mixture%20onto%20one%20side%20of%20each%20breast,%20then%20close%20the%20%E2%80%9Cbooks.%E2%80%9D%20%20Sprinkle%20brown%20sugar%20on%20top%20of%20the%20chicken,%20then%20drizzle%20with%20lemon.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20baking%20dish%20into%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%2040%20%E2%80%93%2045%20minutes,%20until%20chicken%20is%20cooked%20through.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESaturday%E2%80%99s%20dinner%20was%20less%20exciting.%20%20More%20salad.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EArugula%20with%20carrots,%20blue%20cheese,%20sliced%20green%20olives,%20crumbled%20feta,%20and%20flax.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlus%20eggs%20cooked%20with%20pizza%20sauce,%20more%20arugula%20and%20olives,%20and%20shredded%20Parmesan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20olives%20seemed%20like%20a%20really%20good%20idea%20but%20in%20the%20end%20their%20juiciness%20was%20not%20appreciated%20in%20the%20eggs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20night%20I%20ate%20pizza%20for%20dinner.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThank%20you,%20cheese,%20for%20being%20you!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHave%20you%20ever%20dyed%20your%20hair%20a%20crazy%20color?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
