Whole Wheat Applesauce Bread

Ingredientes

  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
  • 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 2 1/4 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. minced peanuts
  • 1 1/4 c. applesauce

Direcciones

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs; mix well. Combine flour, baking pwdr, salt, soda, spices, raisins and nuts. Add in to creamed mix alternately with applesauce; mix well after each addition.
  2. Spoon batter into well buttered 9x5 inch loaf pan. Bake 60 to 70 min or possibly till wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cold 10 min; remove from pan and cold completely on wire rack. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and store 12 to 24 hrs.
