%20came%20running%20into%20my%20house%20and%20asked%20%22where%20are%20the%20bones?%22%20No%20bones%20this%20year.%20So,%20here%20is%20our%20butler%20that%20we%20usually%20have%20up%20(along%20with%20boxes%20and%20boxes%20of%20other%20stuff)%20during%20Halloween.%20This%20is%20at%20the%20old%20house%20and%20looks%20like%20we%20were%20just%20unpacking%20him%20for%20Halloween.%20So%20what%20did%20I%20do%20this%20year?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20bought%20two%20pumpkins%20just%20for%20the%20seeds.%20I%20have%20to%20make%20my%20seeds.%20I%20felt%20a%20little%20guilty%20so%20I%20started%20to%20carve%20one%20of%20them.%20I%20had%20an%20idea%20to%20do%20%22Food%22%20on%20one%20of%20them%20and%20%22Buzz%22%20on%20the%20other.%20I%20thought%20this%20might%20get%20me%20into%20the%20top%209%20for%20once%20(ok%20twice,%20I%20did%20land%20there%20ONCE).%20No%20such%20luck.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20got%20F...O%20done%20and%20that%20is%20when%20my%20attention%20span%20went%20elsewhere.%20I%20let%20my%20mind%20wander%20and%20my%20mind%20said%20%22Uh,%20what%20the%20hell%20you%20doing?%20Why%20are%20you%20wasting%20your%20time?%22%20So%20instead:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20scooped%20out%20the%20pumpkin%20and%20proceeded%20making%20my%20favorite%20recipe%20for%20seeds.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere%20are%20the%20unadorned%20seeds.%20I%20love%20pumpkin%20seeds%20more%20than%20almost%20any%20other%20snack%20food.%20I%20eat%20so%20many%20of%20them%20that%20sometimes%20I%20go%20back%20to%20being%205%20years%20old%20in%20my%20head%20(wait,%20maybe%20that%20is%20senile%20and%20not%20going%20back%20to%205)%20and%20I%20think%20that%20perhaps%20these%20seeds%20might%20sprout%20a%20pumpkin%20in%20my%20gut.%20THAT%20is%20why%20my%20stomach%20looks%20like%20that!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMagic%20potion%20thrown%20on%20the%20seeds%20and%20bake%20for%20about%20an%20hour%20total%20(turning%20in%20between).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EABRACADABRA%20(is%20that%20how%20you%20spell%20it?)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EABRACADABRA%20Pumpkin%20Seeds%20(Can%20you%20tell%20I%20made%20the%20name%20up?)%20I%20don't%20remember%20where%20I%20got%20this%20recipe.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20275%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EClean%20pumpkin%20seeds%20and%20spread%20onto%20pan.%20Put%20in%20oven%20to%20dry%20for%20about%2015%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStir%20the%20pumpkin%20seeds%20and%20butter%20together,%20in%20a%20large%20mixing%20bowl,%20and%20add%20the%20other%20ingredients.%20Stir%20until%20everything%20is%20well%20combined,%20then%20again%20spread%20the%20pumpkin%20seeds%20in%20one%20layer%20on%20a%20baking%20sheet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2030%20minutes%20and%20then%20turn%20seeds.%20Bake%20for%20another%2030%20minutes%20and%20then%20remove%20from%20oven%20and%20let%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20roasted%20pumpkin%20seeds%20can%20be%20refrigerated%20in%20an%20airtight%20container%20for%20up%20to%206%20weeks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Makes%202%20Cups)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20yeah,%20can%20you%20vote%20for%20me%20to%20be%20a%20food%20ninja?%20Just%20go%20here:%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
