.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMade%20from%20Solid%20Beech%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EExcellent%20for%20Non%20Stick%20Surfaces%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESplinter%20Resistant%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E100%25%20Pure,%20From%20well-managed%20forests%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20really%20is%20a%20lovely%20rolling%20pin.%20%20It%20moved%20easily%20with%20no%20effort%20at%20all%20and%20worked%20wonderfully.%20%20If%20I%20had%20any%20complaint%20about%20it%20at%20all,%20it%20was%20that%20the%20product%20label%20was%20actually%20stuck%20to%20the%20rolling%20pin%20and%20I%20had%20to%20soak%20it%20to%20remove%20it.%20%20I%20am%20not%20in%20the%20habit%20of%20washing%20my%20rolling%20pins.%20%20I%20quite%20simply%20like%20to%20brush%20them%20off%20and%20rub%20them%20with%20a%20clean%20cloth%20when%20I%20am%20finished.%20%20The%20label%20did%20eventually%20come%20off%20though%20and%20I%20will%20be%20able%20to%20keep%20seasoning%20it%20as%20I%20normally%20do.%20%20It%20is%20really%20quite%20a%20nice%20rolling%20pin,%20and%20at%20%C2%A35.99%20in%20most%20locations,%20very%20affordable%20and%20good%20quality%20for%20money%20spent.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20next%20article%20was%20this%20lovely%20set%20of%20Tala%204%20Snowflake%20cutters.%20%20All%20five%20fitting%20into%20a%20compact%20tin%20for%20storage.%20%20They%20range%20in%20size%20from%201%201/2%20inches%20in%20diameter%20to%203%20inches%20in%20diameter.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20did%20a%20really%20lovely%20job%20of%20cutting%20out%20with%20really%20nice%20clear%20cuts%20and%20were%20very%20easy%20to%20use.%20%20I%20was%20well%20impressed.%20%20Sometimes%20cookie%20cutters%20with%20such%20intricate%20edges%20can%20be%20a%20bit%20difficult%20to%20use,%20with%20the%20dough%20catching%20into%20the%20edges%20and%20not%20wanting%20to%20be%20released.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20you%20can%20see%20this%20was%20definitely%20not%20a%20problem%20with%20these%20cutters.%20%20Al;so%20reasonably%20priced%20at%20%C2%A36.99.%20%20I%20was%20so%20excited%20at%20the%20lovely%20snowflake%20short-bread%20biscuits%20%20I%20envisioned%20on%20serving%20up%20to%20guests%20over%20the%20holidays.%20%20I%20thought%20they%20would%20be%20quite%20beautiful%20dusted%20with%20icing%20sugar%20using%20the%20Tala%20Sugar%20Shaker.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECreated%20in%20their%20retro%20style%20and%20made%20from%20Stainless%20Steel,%20this%20is%20a%20lovely%20Sugar%20Shaker,%20also%20very%20reasonably%20priced%20at%20%C2%A36.99.%20%20I%20didn't%20get%20to%20use%20it%20though%20.%20.%20.%20because%20the%20stupid%20cookie%20recipe%20I%20decided%20to%20try%20was%20a%20real%20total%20flop.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20rolled%20out%20nice%20and%20cut%20nice%20and%20I%20thought%20they%20would%20be%20beautiful%20biscuits.%20%20Alas%20when%20they%20were%20baking%20they%20spread%20out%20all%20over%20the%20pan%20and%20ended%20up%20hard%20and%20crisp%20and%20very%20horribly%20burnt%20in%20the%20time%20alloted.%20%20I%20sure%20hope%20that%20the%20remainder%20of%20the%20recipes%20in%20this%20book%20are%20not%20as%20horribly%20out.%20%20This%20one%20was%20a%20real%20loser.%20I%20was%20so%20disappointed%20not%20to%20mention%20annoyed%20at%20all%20that%20waste%20of%20butter%20and%20sugar.%20%20I%20can%20only%20think%20that%20the%20proportion%20of%20butter%20to%20everything%20else%20was%20way%20out.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFrom%20now%20on%20I'll%20stick%20to%20my%20old%20reliable%20whipped%20short%20breads%20for%20my%20Christmas%20biscuits.%20They%20always%20turn%20out%20and%20are%20so%20easy%20to%20make.%20%20Delicious%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Whipped%20Shortbreads*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%20about%202%20dozen%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAll%20the%20yumminess%20of%20shortbread%20cookies%20without%20any%20of%20the%20hassle%20of%20having%20to%20roll%20them%20out,%20etc.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eor%20coloured%20sugars,%20or%20chopped%20green%20and%20red%20cherries.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eabout%2017%20minutes%20until%20the%20bottoms%20are%20coloured%20light%20brown.%20Allow%20to%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ecool%20on%20the%20baking%20sheets.%20Store%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMany%20thanks%20to%20Eddingtons%20and%20Tala%20for%20sending%20me%20these%20lovely%20new%20baking%20tools.%20%20I%20am%20going%20to%20use%20them%20all%20again%20before%20Christmas%20to%20bake%20some%20Gingerbread%20biscuits.%20%20I%20can't%20wait!%20%20They'll%20look%20lovely%20dusted%20with%20sugar%20I%20think.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
