.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20a%20Not%20Ketchup%20meatloaf.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20when%20I%20say%20Not%20Ketchup....I%20literally%20mean%20Not%20Ketchup%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20friend%20and%20fellow%20blogger%20Erika%20from%20In%20Erika's%20Kitchen,%20has%20launched%20an%20amazing%20new%20product%20called%20Not%20Ketchup%20Dipping%20Sauce.%20There%20are%20currently%203%20flavors:%20Cherry%20Chipotle,%20Blueberry%20White%20Pepper%20and%20Smokey%20Date,%20with%20the%20promise%20of%204%20more%20flavors%20to%20come.%20You%20can%20see%20which%20two%20bottle%20Erika%20sent%20me...and%20I%20couldn't%20be%20more%20thrilled!%20Not%20only%20is%20Not%20Ketchup%20a%20great%20alternative%20to%20ketchup,%20but%20it's%20made%20with%20fresh%20ingredients%20(fruit,%20not%20tomatoes),%20natural%20sweeteners,%20no%20artificial%20flavors%20or%20colors,%20no%20processed%20sugar%20and%20no%20preservatives.%20And....its%20gluten%20free.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAaaaaaaaaaaaand,%20it's%20delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20haven't%20figured%20out%20what%20I'm%20going%20to%20make%20with%20the%20Blueberry%20White%20Pepper%20yet,%20but%20I%20have%20thoroughly%20enjoyed%20the%20spicy%20tang%20of%20Cherry%20Chipotle.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet's%20talk%20about%20meatloaf%20for%20a%20minute.%20People%20either%20love%20it,%20or%20hate%20it.%20And%20most%20who%20love%20it,%20only%20love%20the%20kind%20they%20make.%20I%20never%20knew%20how%20particular%20people%20are%20about%20meatloaf.%20I%20guess%20when%20it%20comes%20down%20to%20it,%20if%20it's%20not%20made%20right,%20it's%20not%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20learned%20something%20the%20other%20night....part%20of%20what%20makes%20or%20breaks%20a%20meatloaf,%20is%20how%20you%20mix%20up%20the%20ingredients.%20DO%20NOT%20squish%20everything%20in%20your%20hands,%20making%20it%20ooze%20out%20between%20your%20fingers%20(cuz%20I%20know...that%20is%20part%20of%20the%20fun,%20right?)%20Well,%20it%20makes%20for%20a%20bad%20meatloaf.%20Just%20kinda%20stir%20everything%20together%20with%20your%20hands.%20I%20beat%20the%20egg%20before%20adding%20it,%20which%20made%20me%20feel%20better%20about%20not%20over%20mixing%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20here's%20an%20amazing%20tip:%20instead%20of%20using%20bread%20crumbs,%20puree%20some%20garlic%20croutons%20in%20your%20food%20processor!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUse%20a%20meat%20thermometer.%20You%20want%20the%20inside%20to%20be%20155'%20F.%20The%20temp%20will%20rise%20once%20removed,%20while%20it's%20resting.%20Using%20the%20thermometer%20will%20prevent%20you%20from%20ending%20up%20with%20a%20dried%20out%20meatlog%20meatloaf.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%20make%20a%20difference%20too,%20of%20course.%20Swap%20things%20around...if%20you%20know%20you%20don't%20like%20bell%20pepper,%20swap%20it%20for%20something%20else.%20If%20you're%20not%20into%20garlic,%20use%20extra%20onions%20or%20something.%20Get%20it?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECherry%20Chipotle%20Meatloaf%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInspired%20by:%20Good%20Eats%20Meatloaf%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20325'%20F.%20Line%20a%20baking%20sheet%20with%20parchment%20paper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20food%20processor,%20combine%20the%20croutons,%20black%20pepper,%20cayenne%20pepper,%20chili%20powder%20and%20summer%20savory.%20Process%20until%20the%20croutons%20have%20becomes%20fine%20crumbs.%20Place%20in%20a%20medium%20sized%20bowl.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20the%20onion,%20carrots,%20bell%20pepper%20and%20garlic%20in%20the%20food%20processor%20and%20pulse%20until%20finely%20chopped,%20but%20not%20pureed.%20Add%20to%20the%20bread%20crumbs.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20in%20the%20salt,%20egg%20and%20meat.%20Combine%20without%20squeezing%20everything%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20mixture%20on%20the%20parchment%20paper%20lined%20baking%20sheet%20and%20form%20into%20a%20loaf,%20pushing%20it%20all%20together%20into%20a%20solid%20loaf%20shape.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20in%20the%20oven%20and%20bake%20for%2010%20minutes.%20Pour%20the%20glaze%20of%20the%20top%20and%20down%20the%20sides.%20Place%20the%20thermometer%20in%20the%20meat%20loaf%20and%20bake%20until%20done.%20The%20length%20of%20time%20will%20depend%20on%20how%20thick%20your%20meatloaf%20is,%20which%20is%20why%20I%20believe%20the%20thermometer%20is%20really%20needed%20here.%20You%20want%20the%20reading%20to%20be%20155'.%20Once%20temp%20has%20been%20reached,%20remove%20from%20the%20oven,%20cover%20lightly%20with%20foil%20and%20let%20it%20rest%20for%20about%2010%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20with%20you're%20favorite%20sides%20(mashed%20potatoes%20seem%20to%20be%20top%20on%20that%20list)%20and%20a%20little%20extra%20Cherry%20Chipotle%20Not%20Ketchup%20to%20drizzle%20over%20your%20slice.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd....this%20folks,%20is%20the%20meatloaf%20that%20won%20me%20over.%20I%20can%20now%20say:%20Yes,%20I%20like%20meatloaf.%20But%20only%20the%20kind%20I%20make.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPsst....Stop%20by%20Not%20Ketchup%20for%20a%20list%20of%20stores%20that%20carry%20this%20new%20yummy%20sauce,%20or%20place%20your%20order%20direct.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
