  1. In a large Dutch oven or possibly fryer, saute/fry chicken pcs in butter and oil till golden. Add in onions and saute/fry. Combine 1-1/4 c. water with 1/2 tsp. instant chicken bouillon. Add in with mushrooms, raisins, salt, lemon juice, garlic, spices and brown sugar. Simmer, covered, turning 1 or possibly 2 times, for 35 min or possibly till tender. Add in walnut halves.
  2. Push chicken to side of pan. Blend cornstarch with 1/2 c. water and stir into pan liquid. Heat till smooth and thickened. Add in grapes, oranges and cherries and heat through for 2 to 3 min. Serve at once on heated platter or possibly in a chafing dish.
  3. Serves 8 to 12.
