%20I%20had%20to%20make%20something.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20some%20cannellini%20beans%20but%20I%20didn't%20soak%20them%20overnight.%20I%20did%20the%20quick%20soak%20on%20them%20and%20they%20worked%20fine.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBrowned%20some%20chicken%20quarters.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20added%20all%20the%20other%20stuff%20and%20left%20it%20on%20a%20low%20flame%20for%20about%20an%20hour%20and%20a%20half.%20It%20still%20looked%20a%20bit%20soupy%20so%20I%20put%20it%20at%20375%20into%20the%20oven%20for%20the%20last%20hour%20and%20a%20half.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20came%20out%20really%20well.%20Next%20time%20I%20wouldn't%20cook%20it%20on%20the%20burner%20at%20all.%20I%20would%20brown%20everything%20but%20then%20I%20would%20just%20cook%20it%20in%20the%20oven%20for%20the%20whole%20time.%20Since%20I%20was%20just%20winging%20it%20I%20did%20it%20this%20way%20this%20time.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20and%20case%20you%20wonder%20what%20Parker%20is%20up%20to%20these%20days...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHe%20is%20out%20partying!%20He%20went%20to%20a%20Bradley%20class%20Halloween%20reunion.%20He%20dressed%20as%20Bam%20Bam%20and%20the%20cutie%20with%20him%20is%20Pebbles.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChicken%20and%20Chorizo%20Thingy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eadapted%20from%20what%20I%20had%20in%20my%20pantry%20and%20freezer%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeason%20chicken%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20Heat%20olive%20oil%20and%20brown%20chicken%20(about%2010%20minutes)%20in%20dutch%20oven.%20Remove%20Chicken%20from%20pan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20chorizo%20and%20onion%20to%20dutch%20oven%20and%20saute%20until%20chorizo%20is%20brown%20and%20onion%20is%20transparent.%20Return%20chicken%20to%20pan.%20Add%20the%20beans.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAdd%20water%20to%20cover.%20Add%20paprika.%20Cook%20on%20low%20flame%20for%20about%201%20hour.%20Transfer%20to%20350%20oven%20for%20about%20another%201.5%20hours.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENOTE:%20This%20is%20just%20how%20I%20ended%20up%20doing%20it%20but%20you%20could%20do%20the%20whole%20thing%20in%20the%20oven%20after%20browning%20and%20it%20would%20be%20fine.%20I%20will%20do%20that%20next%20time%20I%20make%20this.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
