!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20yummy%20treat%20was%20my%20first%20venture%20back%20into%20the%20kitchen.%20%20The%20boys%20were%20begging%20for%20cinnamon%20rolls%20and%20I%20wanted%20to%20do%20something%20a%20little%20different.%20%20So%20I%20took%20a%20cinnamon%20roll%20recipe%20and%20rolled%20it%20up%20but%20instead%20of%20cutting%20it%20into%20individual%20rolls,%20I%20cut%20it%20lengthwise%20and%20twisted%20it%20up%20to%20make%20this%20beautiful%20wreath.%20%20The%20recipe%20is%20actually%20makes%20two%20wreaths.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20is%20no%20more%20difficult%20than%20making%20any%20other%20yeast%20dough.%20%20You%20can%20use%20my%20recipe%20or%20use%20your%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eown%20if%20you%20have%20one%20that%20you%20absolutely%20love.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20filled%20mine%20with%20cinnamon%20sugar%20but%20you%20could%20add%20nuts,%20dried%20fruit%20or%20anything%20else%20that%20you%20could%20add%20to%20the%20filling%20of%20a%20cinnamon%20roll.%20%20I%20was%20tempted%20to%20try%20chocolate%20chips%20but%20was%20worried%20it%20might%20be%20a%20little%20too%20messy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20you%20can%20see%20above,%20you%20roll%20it%20up%20just%20like%20you%20do%20with%20cinnamon%20rolls.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENext%20just%20cut%20it%20lengthwise%20down%20the%20center%20and%20fold%20the%20two%20halves%20open%20next%20to%20each%20other.%20%20Procede%20to%20braid%20the%20two%20halves%20and%20then%20%20pinch%20the%20ends%20together%20and%20form%20a%20wreath.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELet%20it%20rise%20again%20for%20another%2030%20to%2060%20minutes%20and%20then%20bake!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHonestly,%20this%20would%20be%20delish%20with%20or%20without%20the%20glaze,%20but%20my%20boys%20wouldn't%20dream%20of%20eating%20a%20cinnamon%20roll%20without%20the%20glaze.%20%20I%20myself%20would%20have%20prefered%20a%20cream%20cheese%20glaze%20but%20once%20again....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20not%20the%20boss%20in%20the%20house%20when%20it%20comes%20to%20baked%20goods!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESlice%20it%20into%20wedges%20to%20serve.%20%20We%20had%20ours%20on%20Christmas%20morning%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(I%20only%20got%20a%20small%20slice%20before%20the%20boys%20gobbled%20it%20all%20up)!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EInstructions:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDisolve%20yeast%20in%20milk%20in%20the%20bowl%20of%20an%20electric%20mixer.%20%20Let%20stand%20for%205%20to%2010%20minutes%20until%20it%20starts%20to%20bloom.%20%20Using%20a%20dough%20hook%20begin%20to%20add%20your%20ingredients%20with%20the%20mixer%20on%20low.%20Slowly%20add%20the%20flour%20until%20completely%20combined.%20%20Add%20flour%201%20tablespoon%20at%20a%20time%20if%20too%20wet%20or%20water%201%20teaspoon%20at%20a%20time%20if%20too%20dry.%20%20Turn%20the%20mixer%20up%20to%20medium%20and%20mix%20until%20the%20dough%20is%20smooth,%20about%205%20more%20minutes.%20%20Place%20dough%20into%20a%20large%20buttered%20bowl%20and%20cover%20(I%20cover%20mine%20with%20a%20dish%20towel)%20and%20place%20in%20a%20warm%20space%20to%20rise%20until%20doubled,%20about%201%20hour.%20%20When%20dough%20has%20risen%20to%20double,%20remove%20from%20bowl%20and%20divide%20in%20half.%20Cover%20each%20portion%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20let%20rest%2010%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoll%20first%20half%20into%20a%209%20x%2014%20inch%20rectangle.%20Spread%20with%20half%20the%20butter.%20Sprinkle%20with%20half%20of%20filling%20mixture%20and%20press%20it%20gently%20into%20the%20dough.%20Starting%20at%20long%20side,%20roll%20up%20jellyroll%20style,%20making%20sure%20to%20keep%20the%20roll%20tight.%20%20Pinch%20seam%20to%20seal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESlice%20roll%20in%20half%20lengthwise.%20Place%20halves%20side%20by%20side,%20with%20cut%20surfaces%20facing%20up.%20Moisten%20one%20end%20of%20each%20portion%20with%20wet%20fingers.%20Push%20the%20ends%20together%20to%20join%20the%20two%20pieces%20of%20dough.%20Twist%20pieces%20together;%20shape%20into%20a%20ring%20and%20fit%20into%20a%20greased%208%20or%209-inch%20pan.%20Moisten%20ends%20and%20press%20to%20seal.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERepeat%20process%20with%20other%20half%20of%20dough%20and%20filling.%20Cover%20and%20let%20rise%20in%20warm%20place%20until%20almost%20doubled%20in%20size,%20another%2030%20to%2060%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20oven%20to%20350%20degrees%20F.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%20about%2020%20minutes,%20or%20until%20golden%20brown.%20Let%20stand%203%20minutes%20and%20transfer%20to%20serving%20platter%20with%20spatula.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20icing%20and%20drizzle%20over%20both%20of%20the%20wreaths.%20%20Slice%20into%20wedges%20and%20serve!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERecipe%20shared%20on:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20Turn%20For%20Us%20-%20Freedom%20Fridays%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
