%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20washed%20the%20ice%20cream%20sticks,%20soak%20them%20in%20water%20for%20an%20hour%20before%20using...just%20to%20make%20sure%20they%20don't%20break%20or%20get%20burnt%20during%20baking.%20As%20the%20ice%20cream%20sticks%20took%20up%20space,%20I%20had%20to%20bake%20these%20cookies%20in%20two%20batches.%20I%20told%20myself%20I%20did%20the%20right%20thing%20when%20I%20retrieved%20these%20colourful%20lollies%20from%20the%20oven!%20In%20case%20you%20ask,%20the%20word%20'thing'%20refers%20to%20picking%20up%20baking%20as%20a%20hobby%20;)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20got%20my%20younger%20boy%20to%20write%20the%20words%20on%20the%20sticks.%20For%20those%20to%20be%20given%20away,%20he%20wrote%20the%20name%20of%20each%20receiver%20on%20the%20stick,%20plus%20his%20favourite%20smiley,%20before%20I%20wrapped%20them%20with%20clear%20cookie%20bags.%20They%20looked%20very%20much%20like%20lollipops!%20I%20didn't%20have%20photos%20to%20show%20as%20my%20lousy%20photography%20skill%20(actually%20I%20have%20not%20acquired%20any%20such%20skills)%20is%20not%20able%20to%20handle%20the%20very%20reflective%20cookie%20bags%20(%5E%5E')There%20is%20a%20down%20side%20to%20these%20cookies-on-sticks%20though.%20I%20have%20to%20keep%20reminding%20my%20kids%20to%20eat%20them%20only%20at%20the%20dinning%20table,%20because,%20if%20you%20are%20not%20careful,%20the%20cookie%20may%20fall%20apart%20half%20way%20eating%20it%20:(%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDespite%20the%20'hazard',%20I%20would%20still%20think%20these%20lollies%20are%20better%20alternatives%20to%20any%20sugar%20laden%20treats%20for%20young%20children.%20Hope%20you%20won't%20blame%20me%20if%20your%20little%20ones,%20or%20not-so-little%20ones%20start%20pestering%20you%20%20to%20bake%20some%20for%20them%20;)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHere's%20wishing%20all%20children%20a%20Happy%20Children's%20Day!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
