%20margarine,%20along%20with%20about%20a%201/4%20cup%20of%20chicken%20stock%20and%20a%201/4%20cup%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20mashed%20potatoes%20come%20out%20fluffy,%20creamy,%20and%20amazingly%20good.%20%20I%20made%20my%20brand%20new%20dairy%20free%20mashed%20potatoes%20to%20go%20with%20the%20ribs%20I%20had%20cooked%20up%20in%20my%20slow%20cooker%20for%20about%206%20hours%20and%20my%20family%20ate%20them%20and%20NO%20ONE%20knew%20they%20secretly%20harbored%20tofu.%20%20And%20people%20weren't%20just%20eating%20them%20politely.%20%20They%20were%20not%20moving%20the%20potatoes%20around%20on%20their%20plates%20to%20make%20it%20look%20like%20they%20had%20eaten%20them%20-%20NO,%20they%20scarfed%20the%20potatoes%20-%20even%20my%20teens%20scarfed%20the%20potatoes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAND%20THEN,%20when%20I%20was%20trying%20to%20use%20up%20all%20the%20ribs%20-%20because%20I%20had%20made%20quite%20a%20few%20-%20I%20took%20all%20the%20meat%20off%20the%20bone,%20sauteed%20up%20some%20onions,%20carrots%20and%20a%20bit%20of%20frozen%20spinach,%20dumped%20the%20meat%20into%20the%20pan%20when%20the%20onions%20and%20carrots%20were%20softened%20and%20the%20spinach%20had%20cooked%20down,%20tossed%20the%20meat%20around,%20added%20a%20bit%20more%20barbecue%20sauce%20(I'm%20a%20fan%20of%20Stubbs%20jarred%20sauce%20when%20I%20don't%20have%20time%20to%20make%20it,%20which%20is%20more%20frequent%20than%20I'd%20like%20to%20admit)%20and%20once%20again,%20I%20threw%20in%20about%20a%201/4%20cup%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20served%20my%20little%20pork%20rib%20mixture%20over%20rice%20and%20it%20was%20glorious.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20far%20I%20have%20used%20Tofutti%20Better%20Than%20Sour%20Cream%20in%20muffins%20that%20called%20for%20yogurt,%20and%20in%20frosting%20instead%20of%20cream%20cheese,%20and%20on%20top%20of%20my%20chili%20because,%20though%20I%20like%20sour%20cream,%20THIS%20is%20BETTER%20THAN%20SOUR%20CREAM.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EJust%20don't%20tell%20the%20children,%20'cause%20if%20they%20find%20out,%20they%20will%20never%20eat%20mashed%20potatoes%20again...%20and%20dammit!%20%20I%20like%20my%20mashed%20potatoes!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
