  1. BEAT TOGETHER 3 CHEESES, EGG AND ONION UNTIL SMOOTH. ADD COOKED SPINACH.
  2. TAKE 2 SHHETS OF PHILO DOUGH OUT OF PACKAGE, KEEPING REMAINING SHEETS COVERED WITH A DAMP TOWEL TO PREVENT DRYING OUT. Made this for our superbowl party; 4 people ate the entire batch - it was great. Highly recommend for party appetizers.

hi, Terri. the recipe is not correct as it concerns the name. TYROPITA means cheese pie (as you describes the method) whereas SPANAKOTYROPITA (meaning spinach & cheese pie) concerns the ingredients you wrote.(in the methjod you don't mention spinach). in aqny case, the pie is delicious. for the treatment of spinach I would suggest to work it with salt in order to be softer and more yummy. best regards and wishes for great cooking! This recipe looks almost like "Samosa" from Indian cuisine. I look forward to trying your recipe.
