Hungarian Chocolate Frosting

Ingredientes

  • 3 ounce Unsweetened Chocolate
  • 1 1/2 c. Powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. Water, warm
  • 3 x Egg yolks
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter

Direcciones

  1. Heat chocolate in double boiler. Remove from boiling water, add in sugar and water, and blend. Add in egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each.
  2. Add in butter, a Tbsp. at a time, beating thoroughly after each amount.
  3. Makes sufficient frosting to cover the top of one 9" layer and sides of three 9" layers, or possibly to cover the tops and sides of two 9" layers.
