- Get out your Chocolate Mold.
- Put a handful of Pink Candy Melts into a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds.
- Get your Decorating brush out and dip in into the Candy.
- I like to use soft brush with a fine point for the delicate work.
- Get out your 4 inch Sticks.
- Paint the inside of the Ears with the Pink Candy Melt and then add your stick. It should fit into the mold without any overlap. If it doesnât fit than just cut it to size. Now put the mold into the freezer to let the Candy harden for about 15 minutes.
- Now take about 1/2 the bag of White Candy Melts into a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds.
- Spoon the Candy into a Decorating bag. Get all of the air bubbles out and roll up the bag. Cut just the end of the tip off.
- Now squeeze the bag and fill up each Bunny Ear to the top.
- Make sure to smooth them off because this will be the back of the bunnyâs Ear. Just use the tip to gently brush the top off.
- Put the Ears back into the Freezer for 15 minutes.
- Get your Marshmallows ready. You will use two for each Bunny.
- Now itâs time for the 8 inch Lollipop Sticks.
- Push the stick through the end of the first Marshmallow.Move it down the stick making room for the second Marshmallow.
- Add the second Marshmallow on top.Go all the way through and then pull it back a little so you donât see the stick.Try to line them up as this is the Bunnyâs Body.
- Now get ready to dip the Marshmallow in the Candy. If the Candy has hardened you can melt it again in the microwave for 30 seconds.
- Dip the Marshmallows into the Candy.Roll them around covering all sides, including the top.Use a rubber spatula to cover the bottom where the stick is.
- While your Chocolate is still soft add some eyes.I made some in advance with royal frosting, but you can also use Chocolate Candy Melts.
- Now get out your Styrofoam. I find this bell shape easy to work with.
- Stick your bunny into the center of the Bell. Now put him in the freezer for about 10 minutes.
- Get out a cutting board and cover the top with Waxed Paper.
- Once the candy has hardened lay the bunny on the Paper and dip the remaining Marshmallows.
- Put the pink candy back into the microwave and melt for 30 seconds.Use the fine Point Brush and make a small dot for the nose.
- Get a toothpick and dip lightly into the Candy.
- Now draw 4 tiny whiskers.
- Take your Bunny Ears out of the freezer.Let them warm up for about 5 minutes.Otherwise the candy will freeze when you try to attach the ears.
- Cut the bottom of the stick in half .
- Now poke a hole in the top of the bunny with the stick from the Ears.Be sure to center it first.Be careful, if you smash the stick into the chocolate it will crack the top.
- Now pull the stick back out paint some Candy melt on the bottom.
- This will work like glue.
- Push the Ears back onto the Bunny.
- Use the brush to paint Candy where the Bunny and Ears meet on all sides.
- Put it back on the Styrofoam Bell to dry for about 5 minutes.
- Finish putting the ears on the rest of the Bunnies.
- Wrap each one with a goody bag and close with a Twist Tie.
- Add some ribbon and theyâre ready for your Easter Basket!
