%20Its%20a%20hardy%20little%20sucker!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20the%20hydrangeas%20are%20hanging%20in%20there...most%20fading,%20but%20with%20new%20blooms%20mixed%20in%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESince%20the%20weather%20wasn't%20very%20inspiring,%20I%20spent%20the%20weekend%20enjoying%20my%20new%20Cuisinart%20food%20processor%20that%20Randy%20got%20me%20for%20our%20anniversary.%20I%20truly%20think%20this%20is%20one%20appliance%20I%20will%20get%20plenty%20of%20use%20from.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOne%20feature%20that%20I%20love%20is%20the%20dough%20blade%20which%20makes%20kneading%20by%20hand%20unnecessary%20and%20its%20way%20quicker%20and%20quieter%20than%20kneading%20with%20my%20Kitchenaid%20(which%20I%20still%20love).%20Randy%20loves%20his%20Mom's%20cinnamon%20rolls%20and%20I've%20had%20mixed%20success%20duplicating%20her%20recipe,%20so%20I%20thought%20I%20would%20give%20another%20dough%20recipe%20a%20try,%20but%20still%20try%20to%20come%20close%20in%20flavor%20to%20hers.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20think%20I%20came%20pretty%20close%20because%20all%20I%20heard%20during%20his%20first%20cinnamon%20roll%20was%20MMMMM%20MMMMM%20MMMM.%20He%20is%20silly%20and%20doesn't%20like%20icing%20on%20his,%20so%20I%20did%20half%20and%20half.%20Its%20true%20though%20that%20the%20filling%20is%20sweet%20enough%20to%20enjoy%20it%20without.%20Brown%20sugar%20is%20the%20secret!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESuzy's%20Cinnamon%20Rolls%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Einspired%20by%20my%20mother%20in%20law's%20recipe,%20Debbie%20Macomber's%20Cedar%20Cove%20Cookbook%20and%20the%20recipe%20booklet%20that%20came%20with%20the%20Cuisinart%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20a%20food%20processor%20insert%20the%20metal%20blade.%20Process%20flour,%20hazelnuts%20and%20salt%20using%20the%20pulse,%2015-20%20times%20until%20ground%20and%20combined.%20Remove%20from%20bowl%20and%20reserve.%20Process%20butter,%20powdered%20sugar%20and%20vanilla%20if%20using%20until%20smooth%20and%20creamy.%20Add%20flour%20mixture%20and%20process%20just%20until%20dry%20ingredients%20are%20incorporated.%20Turn%20out%20this%20dough%20onto%20a%20lightly%20floured%20surface.%20Shape%20into%202%20equal%20balls,%20wrap%20in%20plastic%20and%20refrigerate%20for%20about%2030%20mins%20until%20stiff%20enough%20to%20shape%20into%20logs.%20Shape%20into%20logs%2010%20inches%20long.%20Wrap%20well%20in%20plastic%20and%20refrigerate%20til%20firm%20or%20freeze%20until%20ready%20to%20use.%20When%20ready%20to%20bake%20preheat%20oven%20to%20350%C2%B0.%20Slice%201/4%20in%20thick%20and%20place%202%20inches%20apart%20on%20ungreased%20baking%20sheets.%20Bake%20ofr%2010-14%20mins%20until%20edges%20begin%20to%20brown.%20Let%20cool%20on%20baking%20sheet%20for%201%20minute%20than%20transfer%20to%20rack%20to%20cool.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBesides%20my%20processor%20fun,%20I%20also%20put%20some%20end%20of%20the%20season%20tomatoes%20to%20excellent%20use!%20Slow%20roasting%20them%20all%20day%20was%20painless...I%20used%20olive%20oil,%20basil,%20marjoram,%20garlic,%20chili%20flakes%20and%20salt.%20They%20cooked%20at%20200%20for%208%20hours.%20Now%20to%20decide%20how%20to%20use%20the%20amazingly%20tasty%20morsels!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI'm%20joining%20in%20over%20at%20Big%20Red%20House%20for%20Mosaic%20Monday...go%20check%20out%20all%20of%20the%20other%20cool%20posts%20HERE%20and%20have%20a%20great%20Monday!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
