,%20while%20she%20sliced%20tomatoes%20we%20bought%20at%20a%20local%20farm%20and%20added%20onion%20to%20the%20roasted%20potatoes.%20The%20BBQ%20spare%20ribs%20were%20already%20prepared%20and%20in%20the%20refrigerator--and%20all%20that%20was%20left%20was%20putting%20the%20baked%20beans%20in%20a%20dish.%20We%20ate%20this%20finger%20lickin'%20meal%20on%20a%20softly%20lit%20patio%20overlooking%20the%20beach.%20It%20was%20dark%20by%20the%20time%20we%20pushed%20away%20from%20the%20table%20and%20Sunny%20headed%20for%20the%20kitchen%20to%20pull%20the%20Blueberry%20&%20Peach%20Cobbler%20out%20of%20the%20oven.%20The%20cobbler%20was%20a%20huge%20hit.%20It%20was%20buttery%20and%20brown%20sugar%20sweet,%20with%20the%20perfect%20balance%20of%20sweet%20and%20tart.%20Sunny%20and%20I%20got%20a%20second%20wind%20and%20didn't%20turn%20in%20until%202%20in%20the%20morning.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBack%20Porch%20Overlooking%20the%20OceanSo%20we%20started%20Saturday%20with%20old-fashioned%20bacon,%20eggs,%20and%20home%20fries%20with%20red/green%20peppers%20&%20onions.%20We%20mopped%20up%20the%20eggs%20with%20raisin%20studded%20scones.%20While%20the%20guys%20took%20Rhody,%20the%20Maltese,%20to%20the%20groomer,%20Sunny%20&%20I%20headed%20to%20a%20quaint%20village%20called%20Wickford.%20The%20village%20had%20a%20myriad%20of%20specialty%20stores,%20antique%20shops%20and%20eateries.%20We%20watched%20the%20clock%20because%20we%20had%20supper%20reservations%20at%20The%20Dunes%20Club%20at%206:30%20PM...and%20the%20men%20hated%20being%20late.%20Dressy%20outfits,%20suits%20and%20ties%20is%20the%20dress%20code.%20H'orderves%20were%20served%20in%20an%20airy%20bar%20overlooking%20the%20ocean.%20An%20hour%20later,%20we%20sauntered%20over%20to%20the%20main%20dining%20room...how%20could%20you%20go%20wrong%20with%20a%20choice%20of%20Filet%20Mignon%20or%20Panko%20Crusted%20Halibut?%20Everything%20was%20prepared%20to%20perfection.%20We%20no%20sooner%20finished%20our%20meal%20when%20the%20lights%20dimmed%20and%20a%20lovely%20cabaret%20singer%20took%20center%20stage.%20We%20completed%20the%20evening%20where%20we%20had%20started%20it...at%20the%20bar%20for%20a%20final%20round%20of%20cheer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBreakfast%20Casserole%20took%20a%20few%20home%20in%20a%20doggie%20bag.%20Although,%20we%20were%20exhausted%20doing%20nothing%20most%20of%20the%20day,%20Sunny%20had%20the%20good%20sense%20to%20suggest%20that%20we%20put%20together%20a%20breakfast%20casserole%20for%20the%20next%20day.%20We%20didn't%20want%20to%20spend%20our%20last%20morning%20together%20preparing%20a%20meal,%20so%20at%20midnight%20we%20dragged%20ourselves%20into%20her%20kitchen%20and%20set%20about%20the%20task.%20We%20dubbed%20the%20casserole,%20While%20You%20Sleep%20French%20Toast%20Casserole.%20It%20consisted%20of%20apples,%20cranberries,%20brown%20sugar,%20butter,%20cinnamon,%20French%20bread,%20milk,%20eggs%20and%20vanilla.%20The%20casserole%20%22marrys%22%20overnight,%20the%20eggs%20seeping%20into%20the%20bread%20and%20the%20sugar/cinnamon%20into%20the%20apples.%20Deeeeelicious!%20Sunny%20sent%20us%20home%20with%20all%20kinds%20of%20goodies,%20telling%20me%20not%20to%20cook%20that%20night....just%20enjoy%20the%20leftovers.%20It%20was%20time%20to%20leave%20and%20I%20was%20as%20relaxed%20as%20if%20I'd%20been%20in%20a%20first%20class%20hotel%20on%20Paradise%20Island%20for%20a%20week.%20We%20said%20our%20farewell%20amidst%20hugs,%20kisses%20and%20last%20minute%20reminders%20of%20when%20we'd%20get%20together%20next.%20Steve%20and%20I%20stopped%20off%20at%20the%20local%20farm%20before%20we%20got%20on%20the%20highway%20buying%20homemade%20cherry%20jam,%20corn%20on%20the%20cob,%20blueberries%20and%20peaches.%20Yes,%20I'm%20going%20back%20on%20my%20eternal%20diet,%20but%20not%20before%20I%20bake%20my%20Best-Forever-Friend's%20mouth-watering,%20senses-reeling%20Fruit%20Cobbler.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECobbler%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPut%20on%20top%20of%20batter.%20(DO%20NOT%20stir).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20at%20350%20for%2045-55%20min.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EServe%20with%20ice%20cream%20and/or%20whipped%20cream%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh,%20and%20this%20is%20our%20Chocolate%20Martini!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ECheers!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERemember%20To%20Make%20Memories%20At%20The%20Table%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E**Recipes%20for%20Arugula%20Pizza%20&%20While%20You%20Sleep%20Breakfast%20Casserole%20will%20be%20posted%20on%20CookEatShare.com,%20eventually%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
