%20explaining%20that%20the%20freezer%20was%20stuffed%20full%20and%20he%20challenged%20me%20by%20saying%20%22You%20seem%20to%20have%20trouble%20with%20an%20empty%20freezer!%20I%20bet%20you%20can't%20empty%20that%20freezer!?%22%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20explained%20to%20him%20all%20the%20benefits%20of%20having%20a%20full%20freezer:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ebeing%20energy%20efficient%20because%20it%20does%20not%20run%20as%20much%20to%20keep%20everything%20cool%20and%20frozen.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ehaving%20a%20stocked%20freezer%20is%20saving%20us%20money%20by%20not%20having%20to%20run%20to%20the%20store%20every%20day!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ewe%20do%20not%20need%20to%20empty%20a%20frost%20free%20freezer%20to%20defrost%20it,%20that%20is%20the%20main%20reason%20we%20spent%20the%20extra%20money%20for%20the%20frost%20free%20freezer,%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eif%20we%20lose%20power%20in%20a%20spring%20storm%20we%20won't%20lose%20too%20much%20frozen%20food%20because%20the%20food%20will%20take%20a%20while%20to%20have%20everything%20thaw.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20reasons%20didn't%20seem%20to%20change%20his%20mind%20that%20we%20need%20to%20empty%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20am%20now%20on%20a%20mission%20to%20get%20us%20an%20empty%20freezer(or%20nearly%20empty%20freezer)%20in%20a%20month.%20%20My%20hubby%20did%20not%20give%20me%20a%20time%20frame%20to%20empty%20it%20but%20the%20week%20after%20spring%20break%20I%20have%20another%20monthly%20Sam's%20run%20planned%20so%20that%20is%20why%20I%20am%20aiming%20for%20the%20freezer%20being%20empty%20in%20a%20month.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20have%20just%20about%20completed%20my%20freezer%20inventory!%20In%20the%20stand%20alone%20freezer,%20I%20have%20several%20pounds%20of%20butter%20and%20margarine%20for%20baking,%20many%20bags%20of%20frozen%20veggies,%20a%20little%20over%2010%20lbs%20french%20fries,%20and%20several%20boxes%20toaster%20strudel.%20I%20do%20not%20have%20much%20in%20the%20way%20of%20meat%20so%20I%20will%20need%20to%20get%20more%20before%20the%20month%20is%20up.%20I%20also%20have%20plenty%20of%20food%20in%20my%20fridge%20freezer!!%20Looks%20like%20several%20burger%20meals%20on%20the%20horizon!!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20empty%20my%20stand%20alone%20freezer%20is%20going%20to%20take%20some(or%20maybe%20I%20should%20say,%20a%20lot!)%20motivation%20on%20my%20part.%20I%20have%20not%20had%20motivation%20to%20bake%20from%20scratch%20for%20a%20while,%20but%20I%20know%20that%20there%20is%20at%20least%208%20cups%20shredded%20zucchini,%2020%20mashed%20bananas,%20and%20about%203%20pounds%20of%20blueberries%20that%20I%20put%20in%20my%20freezer%20last%20summer%20to%20use%20by%20making%20up%20muffins,%20quick%20breads,%20and%20???%20over%20the%20winter%20months.%20The%20winter%20months%20are%20over%20and%20those%20items%20are%20still%20in%20there!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20I%20need%20your%20help%20by%20giving%20me%20some%20tried%20and%20true%20recipes%20to%20use%20up%20all%20that%20zucchini,%20bananas%20and%20blueberries.%20%20What%20can%20I%20make%20or%20bake%20with%20these%20items%20except%20muffins??%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThis%20post%20is%20linked%20to:%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
