,%20I'm%20very%20happy%20he's%20joined%20our%20family.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20the%20only%20sister%20and%20only%20bridesmaid%20to%20this%20particular%20bride,%20it%20fell%20to%20me%20to%20plan%20a%20number%20of%20fun%20things.%20First%20(and%20foremost),%20I%20helped%20the%20Bride%20plan%20the%20wedding.%20Second,%20I%20planned%20the%20Bachelorette%20party.%20Third,%20I%20planned%20and%20hosted%20the%20Bridal%20Shower.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo,%20when%20it%20came%20time%20to%20plan%20these%20events,%20I%20went%20way%20overboard.%20(At%20this%20point,%20it's%20appropriate%20to%20thank%20my%20long-suffering%20husband,%20who%20put%20up%20with%20a%20LOT%20on%20the%20bachelorette/shower%20weekend.)%20For%20the%20bachelorette%20party,%20I%20cooked%20a%20big%20hangover-prevention%20dinner%20and%20made%20some%20nice%20cocktails%20before%20the%20girls%20headed%20out%20to%20Cuchi%20Cuchi%20for%20a%20night%20on%20the%20town.%20(If%20you%20find%20yourself%20in%20Cambridge,%20in%20need%20of%20a%20cocktail,%20go%20there.)First:%20the%20cocktails.%20We're%20still%20working%20on%20a%20kicky%20name%20that%20has%20something%20to%20do%20with%20my%20sister's%20name%20or%20interests,%20but%20for%20now%20it's%20called%20the%20Mango%20Sunset.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMango%20Juice%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrenadine%20(I%20used%20homemade%20-%20recipe%20below)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETequila%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMix%20the%20tequila%20and%20mango%20juice,%20then%20pour%20grenadine%20down%20the%20side%20of%20the%20glass%20so%20that%20it%20settles%20at%20the%20bottom%20and%20only%20slowly%20infiltrates%20the%20mango%20juice,%20hence%20the%20Sunset.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHomemade%20Grenadine%20is%20EASY%20to%20make%20and%20SO%20much%20better%20than%20the%20processed%20crap.%20Just%20make%20a%20simple%20syrup,%20but%20use%20pomegranate%20juice%20instead%20of%20water.%20Equal%20parts%20pom%20juice%20and%20sugar.%20Bring%20to%20a%20boil,%20boil%20until%20sugar%20completely%20dissolves%20and%20syrup%20forms,%20remove%20from%20heat.%20Done.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThen:%20The%20Pizzas.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUnfortunately%20I%20didn't%20photograph%20the%20best%20of%20all%20the%20pizzas%20-%20the%20one%20for%20which%20I'm%20generously%20going%20to%20give%20you%20the%20recipe%20(which%20by%20all%20rights%20I%20should%20keep%20SECRET).%20I%20made%20three%20pizzas%20-%20a%20veggie%20pizza%20with%20Turkey%20Bolognese,%20a%20Three-Cheese%20Pizza%20(with%20the%20same%20Bolognese),%20and%20a%20Potato%20Pizza%20recreated%20after%20Number%205%20at%20Cambridge,%201.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPotato%20Pizza%20(Yes,%20it%20sounds%20strange,%20but%20it%20is%20the%20most%20delicious%20starchy%20thing%20in%20the%20world).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDrain%20water%20from%20cooked%20cubed%20potatoes%20and%20mash%20with%20rough-chopped%20rosemary,%20butter,%20and%20dollop%20of%20sour%20cream.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERoughly%20flatten%20pizza%20dough%20on%20a%20well-oiled%20pan%20(or%20pizza%20stone,%20if%20you%20prefer).%20Brush%20top%20of%20dough%20with%20olive%20oil.%20Season%20with%20salt%20and%20pepper.%20Sprinkle%20finely%20chopped%20garlic%20over%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20potato%20slices%20on%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERandomly%20drop%20dollops%20of%20ricotta%20(goat%20cheese%20would%20also%20be%20DELICIOUS)%20onto%20the%20dough.%20Distribute%20fontina%20slices%20across%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESprinkle%20more%20rosemary%20over%20the%20entire%20pizza.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20at%20400%20until%20dough%20is%20golden%20brown%20and%20the%20cheese%20has%20begun%20to%20bubble%20and%20brown.%20Be%20sure%20potato%20slices%20are%20cooked%20through.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote:%20Do%20salt%20very%20generously.%20The%20pizza%20will%20be%20bland%20with%20all%20that%20starch%20without%20enough%20salt.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
