%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20went%20a%20bit%20crazy%20in%20Lidl's%20the%20other%20day%20and%20bought%20umpteen%20little%20boxes%20of%20these%20Ferrero%20Roche%20.%20.%20.%20thinking%20that%20I%20would%20give%20one%20to%20each%20of%20the%20sisters%20that%20I%20visit%20teach%20and%20.%20.%20.%20well%20.%20.%20.%20somehow%20I%20ended%20up%20with%20an%20extra%20one!%20Don't%20ask%20me%20how%20that%20happened%20.%20.%20.%20I%20have%20no%20feasible%20or%20believable%20explanation%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyways,%20I%20was%20going%20to%20make%20some%20cupcakes%20today%20because%20the%20missionaries%20were%20bringing%20over%20an%20investigator%20to%20teach%20in%20our%20home%20and%20I%20thought%20it%20would%20be%20a%20nice%20thing%20to%20do.%20I%20was%20just%20going%20to%20make%20my%20old%20plain%20buttery%20cupcake%20recipe%20and%20then%20I%20had%20an%20epiphany%20of%20sorts%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20looked%20at%20the%20cupcake%20recipe%20and%20then%20I%20looked%20at%20this%20extra%20box%20of%20ferrero%20rocher%20and%20I%20thought%20.%20.%20.%20oh%20wouldn't%20a%20cupcake%20just%20be%20the%20most%20delicious%20thing%20on%20earth%20if%20you%20hid%20a%20ferrero%20rocher%20in%20the%20middle%20of%20it%20before%20you%20baked%20them???%20I%20mean,%20how%20wonderful%20would%20that%20be???%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20so%20.%20.%20.%20I%20did%20it.%20I%20baked%20those%20cupcakes%20with%20a%20tasty%20little%20ferrero%20rocher%20chocolate%20truffle%20hidden%20in%20the%20centre%20of%20each%20one%20.%20.%20.%20and%20then%20.%20.%20.%20well%20.%20.%20.%20I%20slathered%20the%20tops%20of%20them%20with%20tons%20of%20gorgeous%20buttery%20moreishly%20delicious%20chocolate%20buttercream%20icing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20then%20.%20.%20.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhy,%20I%20ate%20one%20of%20course!%20You%20wouldn't%20expect%20me%20to%20feed%20anything%20to%20anybody%20without%20having%20tasted%20it%20first%20would%20you???%20I%20thought%20so%20.%20.%20.%20oh%20my%20the%20sacrifices%20I%20must%20make%20in%20the%20line%20of%20duty%20are%20nobody's%20business!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E*Surprise%20Cupcakes*%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%20about%209%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EButtery%20cupcakes%20with%20a%20sweet%20surprise%20centre%20of%20a%20truffle%20or%20other%20treat,%20and%20slathered%20with%20Chocolate%20Buttercream%20Icing.%20Decadently%20delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20fill:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E9%20truffles,%20ferrer%20roche,%20etc.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreheat%20the%20oven%20to%20200*C/400*F/%20gas%20mark%206.%20Line%209%20muffin%20cups%20with%20paper%20liners.%20Set%20aside.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeasure%20all%20the%20cake%20ingredients%20into%20a%20bowl%20and%20beat%20well%20for%20about%202%20to%203%20minutes%20until%20well%20blended%20and%20smooth.%20Fill%20the%20paper%20cups%201/3%20up%20with%20some%20of%20the%20batter.%20Press%20one%20truffle%20(or%20whatever%20you%20are%20using)%20lightly%20into%20the%20centre%20and%20then%20top%20with%20another%20dollop%20of%20cake%20batter%20to%20cover.%20The%20cups%20should%20be%20ab%20out%20half%20full.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBake%20for%2015%20to%2020%20minutes,%20until%20well%20risen%20and%20golden%20brown.%20Remove%20from%20the%20oven%20and%20then%20from%20the%20tin%20to%20cool%20completely%20on%20a%20wire%20rack%20before%20proceeding.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnce%20the%20cakes%20are%20completely%20cooled%20make%20the%20buttercream.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETo%20make%20the%20icing,%20blend%20the%20cocoa%20powder%20and%20hot%20water%20together.%20Allow%20to%20cool%20slightly,%20then%20add%20the%20butter%20and%20icing%20sugar.%20Beat%20until%20smooth%20and%20fluffy.%20Spread%20a%20portion%20of%20this%20buttercream%20over%20the%20top%20of%20each%20cupcake.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EStore%20any%20leftovers%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOver%20in%20The%20Cottage%20today,%20delicious%20Grilled%20Chicken%20with%20Herbed%20Butter,%20Almonds%20and%20Gruyere.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
