%20and%20I%20appreciate%20your%20visits%20and%20look%20forward%20to%20more%20participation%20in%20our%20weekly%20homage%20to%20the%20wonderful%20foodie%20blogs%20around%20the%20internet!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWork%20this%20week%20has%20been%20overwhelming%20so%20I%20decided%20to%20reach%20back%20into%20my%20'archives'%20and%20revisit%20a%20recipe%20I've%20made%20from%20a%20wonderful%20blog%20called%20Tribeca%20Yummy%20Mummy.%20%20When%20I%20saw%20this%20recipe%20for%20Vanilla%20Panna%20Cotta%20on%20Cate's%20blog,%20I%20knew%20I%20would%20have%20to%20make%20it.%20%20It's%20so%20simple.%20%20It's%20so%20DELICIOUS!%20%20With%20pomegranate%20season%20upon%20us,%20it's%20the%20perfect%20time%20to%20whip%20up%20this%20beautiful%20dessert.%20%20Thank%20you%20once%20again,%20Cate%20-%20I%20love%20this!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI've%20seen%20and%20heard%20of%20many%20ways%20to%20rid%20a%20pomegranate%20of%20its%20their%20arils/%20seeds.%20%20Many%20suggest%20taking%20the%20fruit%20apart%20under%20water,%20letting%20the%20inedible%20sections%20float%20to%20the%20top%20and%20then%20scooping%20up%20the%20seeds.%20%20I%20say%20leave%20the%20watering%20for%20the%20garden!%20%20I%20simply%20cut%20the%20pomegranate%20in%20half,%20hold%20the%20half%20over%20a%20bowl%20(rind%20side%20up)%20and%20thwack%20the%20rind%20side%20with%20a%20wooden%20spoon,%20letting%20the%20the%20little%20jewel-like%20arils%20drop.%20%20No%20muss,%20no%20fuss!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMeasure%20the%20water%20into%20a%20small%20liquid%20measuring%20cup.%20Sprinkle%20the%20gelatin%20over%20the%20water%20and%20set%20it%20aside%20for%20the%20time%20being.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20the%20water%20sets,%20whisk%20together%20the%20yogurt,%20pinch%20of%20salt,%20honey,%20vanilla,%20and%20orange%20flower%20water%20together%20in%20a%20large%20bowl%20(a%20pouring%20lip%20is%20helpful%20for%20this%20recipe)%20is%20or%20very%20large%20liquid%20measure.%20Set%20this%20aside,%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20cream%20into%20a%20medium%20saucepan.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBring%20the%20cream%20to%20a%20boil%20over%20medium%20heat,%20whisking%20a%20bit.%20As%20soon%20as%20the%20cream%20comes%20to%20a%20boil,%20remove%20it%20from%20the%20heat.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20gelatin%20mixture%20into%20the%20cream%20and%20whisk%20them%20together%20well%20for%20a%20full%20minute%20to%20make%20certain%20that%20they%20are%20properly%20combined.%20Pour%20the%20cream%20mixture%20into%20the%20yogurt%20mixture.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhisk%20the%20two%20mixtures%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPour%20the%20panna%20cotta%20into%20little%20sake%20cups%20or%20ramekins.%20Let%20the%20cups%20cool%20to%20room%20temperature.%20Place%20the%20little%20cups%20onto%20a%20rimmed%20baking%20sheet%20or%20tray.%20Cover%20the%20whole%20business%20with%20plastic%20wrap%20and%20place%20in%20the%20refrigerator%20for%20at%20least%205%20hours%20or%20overnight.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20you%20are%20ready%20to%20serve%20your%20panna%20cotta,%20take%20them%20out%20of%20the%20fridge,%20sprinkle%20them%20with%20the%20pomegranate%20arils%20and%20drizzle%20on%20a%20bit%20more%20honey.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
